Dr. M. Andrew Davis is a 2005 graduate of Anson Senior High School, and in 2009, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in African American Studies, from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, North Carolina. In May 2012, he conferred a Master of Divinity degree from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Embracing his belief in the value of theological education, in 2014, Reverend Dr. M. Andrew Davis was hired at Apex School of Theology, Durham, North Carolina, and was instrumental in developing its Recruiting Department.
Moreover, at Apex, he teaches several practical theology courses. Reverend Dr. M. Andrew Davis completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew University, Madison, New Jersey in 2016. The extensive research for his dissertation is gleaned from his millennial generation’s perspective and its contributions to society by way of profound and positive connections.
His dissertation, titled “The Millennial Generation: Building a Legacy in the African American Rural Faith Community Through Connectional Relationships” will undoubtedly be utilized resource for faith communities everywhere. In efforts to assist the ecclesiastical community with ministering to the millennials he published a book entitled “Church Without Limits: Connecting to the Millennial Generation.”
